WHAT ARE THE OPENING HOURS?
Japan Con is open from 10.00 to 18.00
I HAVE BOUGHT AN ONLINE TICKET. How can I get inside?
There will be two entrances: A Ticket Line (If you already have your online printed ticket) and a No Ticket Line.
Can I get back inside once I’ve been outside?
Of course! Ask a steward at the entrance/exit for a stamp when going outside!

FOR HOW MANY DAYS IS MY TICKET VALID?
The daytickets are valid for 1 day of your choice, the weekend tickets are valid for the whole weekend.
ARE THERE WEEKEND TICKETS?
Yes.
I PURCHASED MY TICKET ONLINE, BUT I'VE STILL NOT RECEIVED IT OR I HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM WITH MY TICKET. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Check your spam folder first, if the ticket is not there, please mail support@cmtickets.com .
IS IT 100% CERTAIN THAT I CAN BUY A TICKET ON THE DAY AT THE BOOTH?
Normally it's possible, but remember that tickets are limited. We will announce it on our website and Facebook if the event is sold out.
DO CHILDREN GET FREE ADMISSION?
Yes, under the age of 10. People from age 10 and up they will need a regular ticket.
DO PEOPLE WHO ACCOMPANY THE DISABLED GET DISCOUNT?
If you're accompanying a disabled visitor, you don't need to pay for a ticket if you have a valid medical certificate from a doctor that says your assistance is needed.
IS THE TICKET NAMEBOUND?
No, so it doesn't matter what name is on the ticket! You can buy tickets for all your friends!
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE STANDARD TICKET AND THE COSPLAY TICKET?
The Standard ticket is the regular ticket. The Cosplay ticket is a reduction ticket for people who come in Cosplay(disguised).
WHEN DO I QUALIFY FOR THE COSPLAY TICKET DISCOUNT?
To qualify for the reduced rate, you should be cosplayed when entering for at least 70%. Watch out : We have a CosplayMeter3000 ™, if it doesn't have a reading of at least 70% of disguise the ticket is not valid! A simple carnival mask won't be sufficient!

is there a discount if i'm in cosplay?
Yes! There is a discount : You can buy the reduced price COSPLAY TICKETS.
And what about weapons?
Guns, forbidden weapons, sharp knives or blades or katana's or any kind of swords, prohibited weapons, sticks, ... are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in and around the convention!
There will be a weapon check at the entrance and weapons may be impounded at our own discretion at any and all times. The weapons will be returned to you when you leave the convention.
ARE swords allowed at japan con?
No, they are not. Only NON STEEL PROP WEAPONS can be allowed.
are airsoft weapons allowed at japan con?
No, any weapon ressembling a real weapon may be refused at the entry.
OTHER
Is smoking allowed at JAPAN CON?
You can smoke outside but please be careful with what you do with your cigarette.
Are animals allowed?
No. Only guide dogs are admitted(with documents and the appropriate equipment).
Is there Wi-Fi available?
No.
Are there signing sessions?
If there are any signing sessions planned, they will be announced on our website and Facebook page.
What is the policy about bullying?
At JAPAN CON, we're all about respect. Don't show respect? 1 strike you're out, we will ask you to leave the premises immediately and a picture will be taken to put on our banlist. Always ask for consent when filming or taking pictures of Cosplayers.
Where can I park at JAPAN CON?
We try to stimulate our visitors as much as possible to come on foot, by bicycle or by public transport.
There is a huge parking lot next to Tour&Taxis and also an underground parking lot.
WARNING :
Only park on permitted parking places around the event hall, on the docks and in the park. The police does not hesitate to write fines or even have your vehicle towed if necessary. Be warned!
How can I pay at the fair?
There are no ATM's at JAPAN CON, but you can pay by BANCONTACT or CREDIT CARD for your entrance tickets and drink tickets. Be sure to bring cash to buy the goods! The closest ATM's are a 5 minute walk away from the convention.
What happens with lost property?
If you lose anything and notice the day of the event, you can retrieve your stuff at the register (if we found it). We keep your stuff for 10 days, you can mail to volunteers@japancon.be
Where are the restrooms?
There are toilets in the building, just follow the signs!
Can I volunteer at JAPAN CON?
Sure! Send an e-mail with your motivation at volunteers@japancon.be
Is there a place to sleep?
No.
Is IT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, there is a bit of pavement to access the hall, but once in the hall everything is flat.
Can we take pictures and videos?
Of course you can! Unless you can store all those marvelous memories only in your brain!
